Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Pedava. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our interior door installation services and website. By engaging our services or accessing our website, you agree to be bound by these terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By contracting with Pedava for interior door installation services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not engage our services.

2. Service Description

Pedava specializes in professional interior door installation services. Our services include, but are not limited to:

  • Consultation and measurement of door openings
  • Professional installation of interior doors
  • Hardware installation including handles, locks, and hinges
  • Frame adjustment and alignment
  • Finishing touches and quality inspection
  • Removal and disposal of old doors (where applicable)

3. Quotations and Pricing

All quotations provided by Pedava are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise specified. Prices are subject to change based on:

  • Material costs and availability
  • Complexity of installation requirements
  • Additional work discovered during the installation process
  • Changes requested by the client after quotation acceptance

Any additional costs will be communicated to the client before proceeding with the work. Final pricing will be confirmed in writing before commencement of services.

4. Payment Terms

Payment terms are as follows:

  1. Deposit: A deposit of 30% of the total project cost is required upon acceptance of the quotation to secure your booking
  2. Progress Payment: 40% is due upon delivery of materials to the installation site
  3. Final Payment: The remaining 30% balance is due upon completion and client approval of the installation

We accept payment via bank transfer, credit/debit card, and cash. Late payments may incur additional charges of 5% per month on the outstanding balance.


5. Scheduling and Appointments

Installation dates are scheduled upon receipt of the initial deposit. We strive to complete all projects within the agreed timeframe. However, delays may occur due to:

  • Unforeseen structural issues
  • Material delivery delays
  • Weather conditions affecting access
  • Client-requested changes or modifications

Clients must provide reasonable notice of at least 48 hours for any rescheduling requests. Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the scheduled appointment may result in a cancellation fee of up to 25% of the project cost.

6. Client Responsibilities

To ensure smooth and efficient service delivery, clients are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate measurements and specifications
  • Ensuring clear access to all installation areas
  • Removing personal belongings and furniture from work areas
  • Providing access to electrical outlets and water facilities if required
  • Ensuring pets are secured away from work areas
  • Being available or designating an authorized representative during installation
  • Inspecting and approving completed work before final payment

7. Warranty and Guarantees

Pedava provides a comprehensive warranty on our installation workmanship for a period of 12 months from the date of completion. This warranty covers:

  • Defects in installation workmanship
  • Hardware adjustment and alignment issues
  • Frame settling and door operation problems

The warranty does not cover:

  • Normal wear and tear
  • Damage caused by misuse or negligence
  • Modifications made by third parties
  • Manufacturer defects in materials (covered separately by manufacturer warranties)
  • Damage from natural disasters or extreme weather conditions

8. Limitation of Liability

Pedava's liability is limited to the total amount paid for the services rendered. We are not liable for:

  • Indirect, consequential, or incidental damages
  • Pre-existing structural issues not disclosed prior to installation
  • Damage to concealed utilities not marked by the client
  • Delays beyond our reasonable control

We maintain appropriate insurance coverage for our operations and recommend clients verify their home insurance covers installation work.

9. Cancellation and Refund Policy

Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing. Refund eligibility depends on the project stage:

  • Before material ordering: Full refund minus 10% administrative fee
  • After material ordering but before installation: Refund of 50% of total cost
  • After installation commencement: No refund available

Custom-ordered materials are non-refundable once ordered.


10. Intellectual Property

All content on the Pedava website, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of Pedava and protected by copyright laws. Unauthorized use of our intellectual property is strictly prohibited.

11. Privacy and Data Protection

We are committed to protecting your privacy and personal information in accordance with applicable data protection laws. Personal information collected during the quotation and service delivery process will be used solely for:

  • Providing and improving our services
  • Communication regarding your project
  • Billing and payment processing
  • Compliance with legal obligations

We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties except as necessary to deliver our services or as required by law.

12. Dispute Resolution

In the event of any dispute arising from these Terms and Conditions or our services, both parties agree to first attempt resolution through good faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, disputes will be resolved through mediation before pursuing legal action.

13. Modifications to Terms

Pedava reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website. Continued use of our services after modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any legal proceedings shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

15. Severability

If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
